Responsibilities
  • Design and create 3D characters that meet the game's artistic vision and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with other artists, designers, and engineers to ensure consistency and quality across the game.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of character design principles, anatomy, and proportions.
  • Work closely with the art director and concept artists to ensure that characters align with the game's overall aesthetic and design intent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in character modeling, texturing, and shading.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in character modeling, texturing, and shading.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
  • Strong understanding of character design principles, anatomy, and proportions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and 5.
  • Knowledge of game development pipelines and processes.
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles and visual communication.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
