Lead Character Artist

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Character Artist to join our team at Wizards of the Coast. As a key member of our Core Team, you will be responsible for creating iconic 3D characters and creatures that establish and drive the quality bar for our project.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish high-quality standards for the team and ensure that quality level is achieved through solid processes and mentorship.
- Create 3D characters and creatures that meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Guide team members on both creative and technical levels to ensure the best possible results.
- Develop and maintain a consistent style across all characters and creatures in the game.
- Collaborate with Tech Art and Programmers to plan and implement character art processes and pipelines.
- Elevate, visualize, and evangelize our artistic vision as part of an outstanding development team.
- 7+ years of focused experience in AAA game development as a Character Artist specializing in organic forms using Maya, ZBrush, or similar tools.
- Experience collaborating and iterating with other Character Artists both internally and externally.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of next-generation asset creation pipelines, tools, and workflows.
- Exceptional understanding of character form, shape, structure, and silhouette.
- Ability to contribute, interpret, and clearly communicate art direction within a team.
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving and prototyping.
- Passion for fiction stories and role-playing games.
- Bilingual French and English.
