Overview:
The Technology Regulatory Compliance division is crucial in managing the compliance risks associated with technology and security within the organization. This role is integral to implementing the IT&S Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and aligning with the overall Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Change Management:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of new or amended regulations on both a national and global scale.
    • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to analyze and interpret regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitate gap analyses and impact assessments for regulatory updates.
    • Maintain a comprehensive record of regulations within the compliance management system.
    • Stay informed about emerging regulatory guidelines and requirements pertaining to Cyber and IT Risk.
    • Execute regular follow-ups on regulatory developments.
    • Coordinate responses and prepare necessary regulatory documentation and reports.
    • Assist in the creation and management of compliance-related issues.
    • Support the updating of regulatory operational procedures.
    • Engage in internal audit processes and respond to information requests.
  • Issues Management:
    • Monitor and update compliance issues, including tracking on-site reviews and information requests.
    • Prepare reports summarizing regulatory issues for internal dashboards.
    • Conduct annual updates on operational procedures related to issue management.
    • Provide support to stakeholders regarding compliance management tools.
    • Address requests from compliance teams regarding IT-related issues.
  • Reporting:
    • Deliver regular updates on compliance issues and regulatory examinations.
    • Provide insights on incident reporting timelines as per jurisdictional requirements.
    • Contribute to quarterly compliance reports with relevant updates.
    • Review and comment on compliance issues for internal dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing technology and information security.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing change initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong presentation capabilities and active participation in relevant committees.
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills, adept at navigating diverse perspectives.
  • Solid understanding of global banking operations and associated systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect projects to broader regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exemplary problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
