Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, planning and organizing tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and make informed decisions to improve efficiency
  • Plan and organize daily tasks and activities to meet business objectives
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve business objectives
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead and instruct individuals
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
