Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tilesetter to join our team at KH Renovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in tile setting
Work Environment

The position involves working at various locations, adapting to different project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile application
  • Mix and apply adhesives such as mortar, cement, or mastic using hand tools
  • Position tiles accurately and apply pressure to secure them
  • Ensure tiles are aligned and straightened properly
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using both hand and power tools
  • Fill grout joints and clean excess material
  • Replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary
  • Polish and finish terra surfaces
  • Install tile strips with precision
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires a strong attention to detail. The work schedule is permanent, with an expectation of 40 hours per week.
