KH Renovations is seeking a skilled Tilesetter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation and a keen eye for detail.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in tile setting.
The position involves working at various locations, providing flexibility and diversity in job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile application.
- Mix and apply various adhesives including mortar and cement using hand tools.
- Carefully set tiles in position and apply pressure to ensure proper adhesion.
- Align and straighten tiles for a professional finish.
- Utilize hand and power cutting tools to cut and fit tiles around obstacles.
- Pack grout into joints and ensure excess is removed for a clean look.
- Replace any cracked or damaged tiles as necessary.
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces to enhance aesthetics.
- Install tile strips with precision.
This role is physically demanding and requires a strong attention to detail. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on work environment.
