Job Title: Captain Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain Server to join our team at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. As a Captain Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and friendly service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist guests with menu items, taking an active role in the training and development of new and existing staff.
  • Project a pleasant and professional image to guests at all times, building and maintaining a high level of customer service and staff morale.
  • Assist management team to develop action plans to improve outlet performance, ensuring that the outlet is operating within the confines of ALCB regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year serving experience required, including at least 6 months a la carte service.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Valid Alberta driver's license required.
  • Excellent knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer required.
  • Pro Serve certification required.
