Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Watershed HR Solutions Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through effective talent management.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies and programs to support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations and Communications: Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Performance Management: Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to drive business results.
  • HR Operations: Oversee payroll administration, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and analyze HR-related reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a consulting firm or business services environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
