The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Dealer Training Organization (DTO), you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support and training to our customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS), focusing on the Parts and/or Service modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and develop an in-depth understanding of the PBS software, including its features and functionalities.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for customers, ensuring they are proficient in using our software.
  • Provide exceptional support to customers, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve software-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with software updates and new features, ensuring you can effectively communicate changes to customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with the DTO team to ensure seamless delivery of training services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and cross-training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in the parts or service area of a dealership, preferably with a strong understanding of dealership management software.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or PBS.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month.
