Dietitian, Eating Disorder Program Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our Eating Disorder Program at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide nutrition consultation and education to clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition plans for clients with eating disorders, including individual and group counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor and evaluate the nutritional component of our Eating Disorder Program.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, caregivers, and clients on nutrition and eating disorders.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for clients with eating disorders, including those with high-risk behaviors.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and research initiatives to enhance our Eating Disorder Program.
- Supervise and support dietetic interns and provide education and support to other healthcare students.
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited university.
- Successful completion of a community nutrition or dietetics internship program approved by Dietitians of Canada.
- Two years of recent experience in client-centered counseling of eating disordered clients, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Valid BC Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
