\tAs a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for analyzing budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, evaluating daily operations, and modifying food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
\t
\tYou will also be responsible for monitoring revenues to determine labour cost, monitoring staff performance, and planning and organizing daily operations.
\t
\tAdditionally, you will be responsible for recruiting staff, setting staff work schedules, supervising staff, training staff, and determining type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures.
\t
\tYou will also be responsible for conducting performance reviews, enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, organizing and maintaining inventory, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
\t
\tFurthermore, you will be responsible for negotiating arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participating in marketing plans and implementation.
\t
\tYou will also be responsible for leading/instructing individuals, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, providing customer service, and managing events.
\t
\tAs a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people and working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
\t
\tYou will also be required to work under pressure, have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be willing to travel.
\t
\tAdditionally, you will be required to have excellent oral and written communication skills, be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player.
\t
\tYou will also be required to have the ability to multitask and be willing to work overtime.
\t
