We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a care setting where you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
As a Physiotherapist, you will develop holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques to assist patients in regaining and/or maintaining an optimal level of function.
You will work collaboratively with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers to promote health, provide physiotherapy treatment, and manage patient care.
The successful candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Competencies in other languages are an asset, with French being preferred.
Please ensure your resume is up-to-date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
HoursThis is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly, including weekends in a rotational schedule.
Some travel between sites may be required.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89.
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
