Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in providing exceptional rehabilitation services.

About the Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time position, with a rotational schedule that includes weekends. The successful candidate may be required to travel between sites.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $69,984 to $87,484 based on a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule.

In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

Job Description

As a Physiotherapist with Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

You will develop holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques to assist patients in regaining and/or maintaining optimal function.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Masters' or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university.
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists.
  • Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing.
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS).
  • Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS).

In addition to the above qualifications, we require excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.
