About the Role

IRISNDT Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Senior NDT Inspector to join our team. As a Guided Wave Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting guided wave testing (GWT) on various piping and pipelines, interpreting GWT inspection data, and producing high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct GWT Inspections: Conduct guided wave testing on a variety of piping and pipelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Interpret Inspection Data: Interpret GWT inspection data and produce high-quality reports to identify any defects or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical services teams to resolve any issues and complete projects.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to GWT inspection.
  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Processes: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the highest level of quality in GWT inspections.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Guided Ultrasonics Limited (GUL) level 1 certification and a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in NDT inspection.
  • Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of GWT inspection techniques and methodologies, ability to work independently and in a team environment, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
