We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Professional to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees while upholding strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive EH&S programs and policies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough safety audits and assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to integrate EH&S considerations into facility design, operations, and maintenance.
- Lead and engage employees in proactive safety initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Provide expert guidance and support on accident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in environmental health and safety management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- In-depth understanding of relevant occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional accreditation in EH&S is highly desirable.
