About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at TechnoGénie - Chasseurs de Talents. As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments
    • Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Provide Training and Education
    • Develop and deliver training programs to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety-related issues.
  • Investigate Incidents
    • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents.
    • Identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. environmental science, occupational health and safety).
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
