Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct Risk Assessments
- Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Provide Training and Education
- Develop and deliver training programs to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety-related issues.
- Investigate Incidents
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents.
- Identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g. environmental science, occupational health and safety).
- Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a similar industry.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
