Fire Safety and Protection, LLC is a leading provider of fire alarm and security systems. We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems and devices. You will also inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures. Additionally, you will test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications. We are looking for individuals with prior experience in fire alarm systems, monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to learn all facets of the CFAA Technician role in fire alarm and security. The position requires the ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, standing for prolonged periods, lifting 35 lbs, and other requirements common to a CFAA Technician. The role also requires flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
