About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm and Security Systems Technician to join our team at Fire Safety and Protection, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing fire alarm and security systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  • Install and maintain fire alarm and security systems, including fire alarm panels, detectors, and sprinkler systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm and security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and resolve technical issues with fire alarm and security systems.
Requirements
  • CFAA License
  • Prior experience with fire alarm systems, monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems.
  • Ability and desire to learn all facets of the Fire Alarm and Security Systems Technician role.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
