Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Showroom Consultant to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Showroom Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients in the plumbing, kitchen, and bathroom industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide expert product selection assistance and design advice to customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales: Meet or exceed monthly product-specific sales and gross profit targets, while increasing profit-sharing.
- Relationship Building: Develop and build strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to grow profitable sales.
- Order Management: Enter orders and quotes in the system, expedite purchases, and maintain proactive communication with customers.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues, address short payments and returns in a timely fashion, and exceed customer expectations.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products on display at the Showroom, able to suggest appropriate products to suit customers' needs, and promote value-added services.
- Display and Promotions: Drive showroom sales through promotions and maintaining display materials.
- Safety and Compliance: Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations and at the Profit Centre.
Qualifications:
- Education: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience with customer service or sales; plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales preferred.
- Skills: Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract, ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders, intermediate math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Skills:
- Product Knowledge: Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold in the plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms.
- Software Skills: Experience using Trend and Eclipse.
