Position Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a crucial role in driving revenue insights for RONA's corporate stores and Pro (B2B) sector. This position requires a proactive approach in supporting the finance team and collaborating with business partners to monitor performance, implement action plans, and facilitate strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a financial advisor to the Operations and Pro leadership teams.
  • Evaluate and interpret financial outcomes related to Sales & Margin for corporate outlets.
  • Engage in forecasting and budgeting processes for the Pro & Retail sectors, regularly reviewing variances between actual and budgeted results.
  • Assist business partners in formulating action plans and tracking their effectiveness.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to clarify results and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to business cases for new initiatives and provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 6 years in a financial capacity.
  • Experience within the retail sector is advantageous.
  • Self-driven and results-focused, committed to delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and synthesis capabilities, demonstrating initiative and energy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in IT tools, particularly Excel.
