Job Title: Technology Support Technician

At Trudell Medical Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Technology Support Technician to join our Corporate IT Service Desk team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, test, and repair systems, including hardware and software.
  • Triage inbound service desk tickets and work to resolve routine technical problems with software and/or hardware or escalate to the appropriate subject matter expert.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users, including setting up new workstations and deploying equipment.
  • Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings and maintain asset tracking for hardware and software licensing agreements.
  • Develop and document security policies and procedures, and maintain security standards for all operating units.
  • Assist with determining the ongoing support required for completed projects in conjunction with stakeholders and ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma in IT with a concentration in networking or technology.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification, Windows and/or Azure Fundamentals, and MS-900 MS365 Fundamentals.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Exchange Server, and Azure Active Directory, as well as DNS and DHCP servers, Firewalls, and Proxy Servers (UTM).
  • Experience with Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare) and Microsoft Office products, including MS 365 E5 and Visio.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade hardware and networking devices, as well as experience with WAPs, switches, and routers in wireless, copper, and fiber environments.
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
