About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helpdesk Technician to join our team at MBI I.T. Services. As a Helpdesk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate detailed incident tickets and determine the level of urgency/severity of the problem.
  • Resolve technical issues at the first level whenever possible.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients and staff over the phone.
  • Manage complaints and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Provide general technical support and information.
Requirements
  • Available to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School Diploma + College or university enrollment/degree.
  • 1-5 Years' experience in the IT Tech Support/Help Desk service industry.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Technical knowledge of hardware, Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • No Criminal Record.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
Nice to Have
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science and/or information technologies.
  • CompTIA A+ Certifications.
