About the Opportunity

The School of Nursing in Dalhousie's Faculty of Health invites applications for a full-time, continuing faculty position at the Instructor rank with a focus on Acute and Chronic Health Conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate students in the area of nursing care of adults with acute and chronic health conditions
  • Develop and deliver courses to reflect the expertise of the successful candidate within the needs of the school
  • Emphasize interprofessional education, in-person, context-based, and/or clinical simulation learning

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline
  • PhD preparation in Nursing and/or another health discipline (an asset)
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing excellence in teaching and practice
  • Four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in acute and chronic health conditions
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
