About the Opportunity
The School of Nursing in Dalhousie's Faculty of Health invites applications for a full-time, continuing faculty position at the Instructor rank with a focus on Acute and Chronic Health Conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate students in the area of nursing care of adults with acute and chronic health conditions
- Develop and deliver courses to reflect the expertise of the successful candidate within the needs of the school
- Emphasize interprofessional education, in-person, context-based, and/or clinical simulation learning
Requirements
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline
- PhD preparation in Nursing and/or another health discipline (an asset)
- Demonstrated commitment to developing excellence in teaching and practice
- Four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in acute and chronic health conditions
- Eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
