Position Overview:

As a Senior Market Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for executing sales performance evaluations and market assessments, interpreting data trends, and formulating business cases along with financial justifications to bolster forecasting and business development initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership, you will facilitate data-driven decision-making and create impactful presentations that highlight key factors influencing commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a fluent working knowledge of IQVIA applications and databases (including Imsight, Xponent, Compuscript, GPM, CD&H, Pharmastats, IMAM).
  • Deliver clear and actionable metrics for first-line sales managers, product managers, and Directors.
  • Conduct financial and supply-demand product forecasts for various business units to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Monitor product portfolio performance and provide insights into variances.
  • Address ad hoc inquiries from commercial operations regarding market and competitive landscapes.
  • Support and validate monthly reporting processes by executing queries, maintaining documentation, and participating in monthly business reviews with relevant business unit stakeholders.
  • Oversee the market definition process and ensure data accuracy prior to publication in reporting tools.
  • Identify and manage market research initiatives in collaboration with brand managers, including methodology development, supplier selection, and questionnaire design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work tactically and drive results to logical conclusions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in manipulating data from IQVIA and other sources to generate meaningful analyses.
  • Ability to independently tackle business challenges and think critically.
  • Capacity to work autonomously under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility through effective leadership.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating cross-functional design teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with team members at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency is essential (strong oral and written skills in both English and French).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Ability to provide estimates to support project timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience in market research is a plus.

Technical Proficiencies:
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Forecast BI Systems.

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
