About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Investment Consulting Analyst to join our team at CA007 Mercer (Canada) Limited. As a Senior Investment Consulting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our consultants in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis utilizing proprietary tools to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Produce quarterly performance reports for clients, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Critically analyze different investment markets, managers' investment styles, and portfolio characteristics to evaluate their impact on investment performance.
  • Communicate with investment managers, record keepers, and custodians to gather and/or clarify client-specific data for reporting.
  • Support consultants in servicing existing clients and prospects, including developing and implementing investment strategies.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills required to allow progression to a consultant role.
  • Demonstrate ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or other business-related areas with strong quantitative and analytical course content.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience or strong co-op experience in a consulting analyst role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
