As an Investment Consulting Analyst, you will play a key role in providing technical support to Investment and Retirement clients across Canada, directly contributing to the organization's objective of delivering superior Investment and Retirement advice to Plan sponsors and Plan members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with the Investment and Retirement team, record keepers, and investment managers
  • Support Consultants in preparing prospect and client presentations and reports, including investment reviews, governance reviews, investment manager searches, and record keeper searches
  • Analyze investment manager performance and evaluate the capabilities of various investment managers and record keepers
  • Attend investment manager and record keeper due diligence meetings and prepare meeting summaries for ratings and client discussions
  • Research industry trends and proactively present new ideas to improve efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business, or related areas
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role, with a strong interest in capital markets
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and diagnostic skills, with excellent planning and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, with a strong work ethic and willingness to work non-standard hours
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of editing/creating VBA macros is an asset
  • Pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is mandatory for this role
