Job Summary

NEW MAPLE GEOMATICS INC. is seeking a skilled Land Surveying Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you will assist in conducting field surveys, collecting data, and providing support to our surveyors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct field surveys, including measuring and recording data, using various instruments and equipment.
  • Assist surveyors in collecting and processing data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Help maintain and operate surveying equipment, including leveling instruments and GPS devices.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe surveying operations.
  • Participate in data analysis and reporting, using software and tools to interpret and present results.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our surveying team works in various locations, including outdoors and in different weather conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses/goggles.

Language and Work Term

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace. This is a permanent position, with a 30-40 hour workweek.
