About the Role

Integrated Geomatics Inc. (IGI) seeks an Environmental/Surface Land Analyst to join our Calgary team, with flexible work arrangements available.

In this position, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support client development activities, combining survey and environmental services such as planning, permitting, environmental assessments, monitoring, GIS mapping, and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete regulatory applications using provincial web-based systems.
  • Analyze GIS software, survey plans, and environmental reports related to project activities.
  • Prepare technical reports.
  • Participate in a collaborative team environment, working closely with project managers, technical leads, and field technicians.
  • Review relevant regulations, including Alberta Public Lands, Alberta Wetland Policy, and Alberta Water Act.
  • Conduct regulatory planning and constraints analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in surface land, environmental sciences, biology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience planning new energy development activities and preparing environmental and regulatory applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional designation and/or eligibility is an asset.
