Position Overview

As a Culinary Specialist at Quesada Burritos & Tacos (Maple Ridge), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food offerings. Your expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement: Manage the requisition of food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Allergy Management: Prepare dishes tailored for customers with specific food allergies or intolerances.
  • Special Meal Preparation: Collaborate with dietitians or chefs to prepare and cook specialized meals for patients.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and equipment to support kitchen operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Keep accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience: Candidates should have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in a culinary environment.

Employment Type: Permanent position.

Language: Proficiency in English is required.

Work Hours: Expect to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
