Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to step into the role of Lead Financial Consultant. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to outstanding client service and will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients towards financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to deliver tailored financial solutions that meet their unique requirements.
  • Offer insightful recommendations to address the financial needs of both corporate entities and individual clients.
  • Ensure timely and precise delivery of financial information, demonstrating proficiency in a comprehensive suite of accounting, assurance, and tax services.
  • Stay informed on the latest tax regulations and accounting standards to provide up-to-date advice.
  • Prepare accurate returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance and punctuality.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing in-depth information that addresses various business challenges.
  • Mentor junior team members on firm protocols and oversee their work to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • A CPA designation is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a public accounting environment.
  • Proven experience in account management and the ability to train and guide junior staff.
  • Familiarity with ASPE and current standards for financial statement presentation, including assurance engagements.
  • Exemplary professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards, serving as a role model for others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for direct client engagement, managing multiple client relationships effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, capable of handling multiple reporting tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experience in compiling and reviewing tax filings, as well as preparing personal, corporate, and trust tax returns.
  • Research experience in tax and accounting matters, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A proactive and resourceful individual with high emotional intelligence and outstanding communication skills, willing to express and support opinions with factual evidence.
  • Solution-oriented problem solver with a deep understanding of interpersonal dynamics, adaptable to various personality types, and skilled in asking insightful questions.
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software, as well as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Interest in business development and expanding the client base.
