Operations Finance Rotational Program

Join Amazon's Operations Finance Rotational Program and embark on a two-year journey of growth and development. As a member of this program, you will have the opportunity to work on various finance teams, gaining hands-on experience and building a strong foundation in financial analysis, leadership, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operational leadership and frontline associates to identify, develop, and enact process improvements within the supply chain process.
  • Participate in daily and weekly planning discussions with senior leadership.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting to support and challenge business decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to help identify capital investment requirements and/or cost reduction opportunities.
  • Design and maintain insightful reporting to drive action of business partners using Excel/VBA/SQL.
  • Analyze operational metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and communicate financial impact across Finance, Operations, and other support departments.
Locations and Placement:

OFRP is a rotational program and requires the willingness to relocate throughout Canada during the two-year program. Placements are determined based upon business need but take into consideration individual location preferences.

Requirements:
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Currently working towards a bachelor's degree with an expected conferral date between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering, accounting, supply chain management, operations, and information systems, business administration, and management, or related field.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Desire and ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
  • Understanding of basic business, accounting, and finance concepts, and a working knowledge of Excel and SQL.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results.
  • Demonstrated track record in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions.
  • Ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
