Position Overview:
The Retail Operations Specialist collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure optimal stockroom organization and effective merchandise management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement
  • Deliver exceptional, professional, and knowledgeable service to customers during operational hours.
  • Support the training of fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.
Store Presentation
  • Assist in upholding cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier area.
  • Maintain awareness of and contribute to SEPHORA's merchandising principles.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss.
Merchandising and Operations
  • Execute timely receipt and processing of shipments.
  • Organize and uphold stockroom standards as per company guidelines.
  • Handle transfers, damages, and testers in accordance with company protocols.
  • Check in all visual merchandising elements and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Ensure that safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
  • Communicate any inventory-related issues to Supervisors or Store Management.
  • Adhere to sampling policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management activities.
  • Selected consultants will receive cross-training in cashier responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or client service, preferably in a stockroom role.
  • Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks while being attentive to client and business needs.
  • Proficient time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in an environment with fragrance.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to bend and stretch to restock shelves.
