Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless work activities and efficient use of resources.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The successful candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.

The work language is English, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
