About Sweat and Tonic: Sweat and Tonic (S&T) is a pioneering wellness and lifestyle center located in Toronto. Our historic three-story facility offers an extensive range of top-tier boutique fitness and wellness experiences, all within a state-of-the-art environment. With expert instructors leading up to 180 classes weekly, we provide a premium café, spa, and bar services designed to rejuvenate and inspire.

Program Overview: The S&T Sweat Equity initiative presents a distinctive opportunity for individuals passionate about health and wellness to contribute positively to the community while enjoying fitness and wellness benefits at S&T in exchange for volunteer hours.

Earn Class Credits: The Sweat Equity Program is vital for enhancing the fitness experience for our community. Volunteers will earn 1.5 S&T class credits for every 3 hours of service (1 hour = 0.5 credit). Exceptional team members can also earn additional rewards.

Experience Boutique Fitness: Enjoy a variety of classes including HIIT, Yoga, and Ride, as well as access to infrared sauna and Somadome meditation sessions. Participants can share their credits with friends and family, with each class equating to one credit.

Community Connection: Engage with a unique community where you can develop professional skills, grow stronger, and have fun. Build relationships with team members, instructors, and fellow fitness enthusiasts.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet every guest
  • Check in guests for classes
  • Assist with basic guest service inquiries
  • Provide personalized tours for first-time guests
  • Maintain the studio environment through routine tasks
  • Ensure classes commence on time by assisting instructors and guests
  • Collaborate with the 'Back of House' team to reset the studio
  • Respond to guest inquiries with accurate information and follow up as needed
  • Work alongside team members to create a positive experience for all
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as required

Program Requirements:

  • Minimum commitment of 3 months
  • Recommended 3 hours per shift, with a preference for 2 shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for group fitness
  • A strong affinity for Sweat and Tonic
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory
