Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will provide strategic HR support to our regional directors, operations team, and internal/external employees. This role will be responsible for administering TEKsystems' human resources policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to managers, including performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Investigate and address employee complaints, collaborating with the Lead HRBP in Canada to identify people trends and needs.
  • Assist with employee offboarding administration and conduct exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and provide consultation on HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the legal, compliance, and HR team to support HR compliance projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • CHRP designation or working towards designation.
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist, preferably with a focus on employee relations.
  • Current knowledge of employment law specific to Canadian provinces.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
