About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Silver Maple Montessori. As an integral part of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and programs for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Educational Programs: Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead Activities: Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Childcare Duties: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, as well as maintain daycare equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records of children's progress.
  • Communication: Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
