Position Overview

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the Office Support Specialist plays a crucial role in welcoming guests, managing phone communications, and delivering essential administrative assistance as required.

Daily Responsibilities -

  • Warmly greeting and assisting guests/clients, whether in person or via phone; addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately
  • Guiding visitors by maintaining up-to-date employee and department directories; providing clear instructions
  • Organizing and distributing incoming faxes and emails to the relevant departments
  • Managing incoming and outgoing courier services (including standard mail); sorting, stamping, and labeling for distribution
  • Ensuring the availability of office supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary
  • Upholding a tidy and secure reception area by adhering to established procedures and regulations
  • Offering support for general office services and directing Brokers to specialized resources when needed

Compensation and Benefits –

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $36,000.00 and $42,000.00, influenced by factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, and location, along with the specific role's business line and scope. HUB International offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid time off, and potential bonuses and commissions for select positions.
