Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Growth Specialist to join our team at D&H Distributing. As a Sales Growth Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Senior Specialists and Sales Teams to conduct daily outbound calls to resellers, prospects, and current partners to drive sales growth and awareness of vendor strategies.
  2. Gain Mindshare and Drive Awareness of vendor Small and Medium Business (SMB) strategies through proactive communication and engagement with resellers and D&H sales teams.
  3. Message and Drive Attendance to vendor Live Events to promote vendor products and services.
  4. Proactively Communicate and Work with D&H sales teams to drive and promote vendor promotions, programs, and floor days.
  5. Identify and Target Resellers to grow vendor business and communicate these opportunities to the sales teams.
  6. Drive and Deliver Current Vendor Deals and programs to resellers and D&H sales teams.
  7. Work with D&H Resellers to broaden the depth of vendor products and educate them on vendor solutions.
  8. Manage Lead Development, Follow-up, and Closure of business opportunities with D&H sales teams.
  9. Provide Support Necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure.
  10. Grow Profitable Sales and Market Share for the vendor within D&H.
  11. Attend Trainings and Meetings with D&H and vendor personnel, in person and online, as needed or required.
  12. Interact and Engage with vendor or 3rd party Field Sales to turn leads into new business.
  13. Engage D&H Outside Field Sales Reps.
  14. Recap Reseller Feedback and share it with the team to help generate incremental business.
  15. Data-Mining for the purpose of broadening product depth and developing new net resellers.
  16. Sell and Place Customer Orders in the computer system.
  17. Answer Phone and Respond to all customer requests.
  18. Back-up Senior Vendor Sales Specialist as needed.
  19. Become a Resident Expert on all specific manufacturer programs and product offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience/education.
  • 1-3 years working in sales or marketing.
  • Experience working in electronic sales is a plus.
