We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Growth Specialist to join our team at D&H Distributing. As a Sales Growth Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Senior Specialists and Sales Teams to conduct daily outbound calls to resellers, prospects, and current partners to drive sales growth and awareness of vendor strategies.
- Gain Mindshare and Drive Awareness of vendor Small and Medium Business (SMB) strategies through proactive communication and engagement with resellers and D&H sales teams.
- Message and Drive Attendance to vendor Live Events to promote vendor products and services.
- Proactively Communicate and Work with D&H sales teams to drive and promote vendor promotions, programs, and floor days.
- Identify and Target Resellers to grow vendor business and communicate these opportunities to the sales teams.
- Drive and Deliver Current Vendor Deals and programs to resellers and D&H sales teams.
- Work with D&H Resellers to broaden the depth of vendor products and educate them on vendor solutions.
- Manage Lead Development, Follow-up, and Closure of business opportunities with D&H sales teams.
- Provide Support Necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure.
- Grow Profitable Sales and Market Share for the vendor within D&H.
- Attend Trainings and Meetings with D&H and vendor personnel, in person and online, as needed or required.
- Interact and Engage with vendor or 3rd party Field Sales to turn leads into new business.
- Engage D&H Outside Field Sales Reps.
- Recap Reseller Feedback and share it with the team to help generate incremental business.
- Data-Mining for the purpose of broadening product depth and developing new net resellers.
- Sell and Place Customer Orders in the computer system.
- Answer Phone and Respond to all customer requests.
- Back-up Senior Vendor Sales Specialist as needed.
- Become a Resident Expert on all specific manufacturer programs and product offerings.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience/education.
- 1-3 years working in sales or marketing.
- Experience working in electronic sales is a plus.
