Job Summary

GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing strategic support to management and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.

  • Strategic Support: Provide strategic support to management and employees on employee relations matters, including developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and providing training and development opportunities.

  • Investigations and Fact-Finding: Conduct thorough investigations and fact-finding to determine the root cause of employee relations issues and provide recommendations for resolution.

  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports on employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations and labor relations.

  • Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience in employee relations, labor relations, and compliance, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex employee relations issues and provide recommendations for resolution.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, with occasional travel required. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of autonomy and independence.
