As a key member of our People & Culture team, the Employee Relations Specialist will play a vital role in handling day-to-day HR queries, ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. This includes onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, global mobility, and other HR-related topics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct employee onboarding and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation.
  • Resolve any HR-related issues that may arise, promoting a conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management, gathering and analyzing data to inform HR metrics.
  • Maintain employee files and records, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Human Resources, Business administration, or any other relevant field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must be fluent in English and French, written and spoken.
  • Understanding of general Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment and/or labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
