Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at Michael Garron Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide essential support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our patient care areas.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
  • Handle clerical tasks, such as data entry and maintaining statistical information
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
  • Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Possesses a positive attitude and works effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
