Chief Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Business Analyst to join our Card Domain team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business and technology projects forward.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis: Support product owners, business line partners, and IT teams in their decision-making and deliveries.
- Process Optimization: Define the scope of processes to be optimized and proactively take charge of planning activities for the various deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead workshops with multiple stakeholders with varied levels and expertise.
- Process Mapping: Model current and target processes based on the Bank's existing mapping practices.
- Impact Analysis: Carry out high-level and detailed impact analyses on all angles of processes, with the help of experts.
- Requirements Management: Apply best practices to identify and write business requirements (functional, non-functional, informational, transitional), understand their connections, and ensure their traceability.
- User Support: Define and identify user test scenarios and support users with operational transfer.
- Change Management: Make proposals for change management strategies for users of the solution.
The IT team at National Bank is comprised of over 2,300 proactive, collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve our processes.
Requirements- Education: University degree in a related field and several years of relevant experience.
- Business Analysis Skills: Business analysis skills in a tech-based ecosystem.
- Process Improvement: Experience in the end-to-end transformation of business processes.
- Business Process Knowledge: Knowledge of business process improvement and mapping: Business Capacities, modeling, BPMN, Lean approach.
- Testing and User Support: Experience with testing scenarios and user support.
- Communication and Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, analytically, synthetically, and communicate effectively.
- Agile Methodology: Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian suite tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
English and French are the primary languages required for this role. You will need to communicate frequently with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
