About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Besharam Bar and Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is served in a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, and train new staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Supervision: Will work under the supervision of a senior chef or kitchen manager.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Must have own transportation and be able to travel to work.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Must be able to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Must be flexible, have initiative, be organized, reliable, and a team player.
