About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at D Spot Hamilton. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, including desserts and pastries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of bakery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and materials to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, tight deadlines, work under pressure
  • Personal Suitability: Team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 30 hours per week
