At OLD BAGEL HOUSE, we are seeking a skilled Bakery Supervisor to lead our pastry department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and baking of our delicious bread, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
Work Environment:
