Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
    • Assist dentists and hygienists with preparing patients for treatment.
  • Supply Management
    • Order and maintain dental and office supplies to ensure a well-stocked and efficient practice.
  • Instrument Maintenance
    • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Administrative Support
    • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information.
    • Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate records.
    • Invoice patients for dental services and handle payment processing.
  • Patient Education
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills.
