Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to design and develop systems, ensuring compliance with industry policies and standards.
  • Work closely with IT to define computer systems requirements, configurations, and securities for Solidworks, Simulation, and PDM.
  • Manage PDM by developing workflows, creating integration with other business software, addressing issues, implementing improvements, and completing upgrades.
  • Oversee training agreements and licensing of all Engineering software, including Solidworks, Simulation, PDM, Cadonix, and Draftsight.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure procedures comply with relevant industry policies and standards.
  • Manage team members to assist users with modeling issues, steering users toward existing best practices, and coaching users to follow standards.
  • Chair ECN, Product Manager, and other Engineering-related meetings.
Requirements:
  • Possess an engineering degree, technology diploma, or equivalent.
  • Certification and an expert level of understanding in the SolidWorks suite of products.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, VBA, and C languages.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands, and able to deal with changing priorities, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Good organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
