About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Anejo Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every meal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs and cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with the head chef and culinary team.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on presentation and quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
