Your Role:

Based in our Mississauga office, we are seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to assist with a variety of technical tasks. This position will involve supporting multiple branches in troubleshooting and configuring various hardware components. Our Information Technology department offers significant opportunities for professional growth, as our operations heavily rely on advanced applications and technologies.

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, as well as printer hardware and software applications.
  2. Provide support for remote access solutions, including VPN and mobile devices.
  3. Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  4. Prioritize and address support requests through a ticketing system.
  5. Resolve issues during or after regular working hours when necessary.
  6. Document processes and solutions to enhance the knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.
  2. Diploma in computer science, DEP in computer support, or equivalent training.
  3. Experience with Active Directory and Exchange account management.
  4. Familiarity with remote access tools such as TeamViewer, RDS, Citrix, etc.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  6. Experience with Windows server environments (2012/2016/2019).
  7. Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and/or Intune.
  8. Understanding of Networking Principles and Windows Domains.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  10. Experience in supporting mobile devices.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  13. Customer service-oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  14. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  15. Proficiency in Spanish is considered an asset.
